RECOVERY NET: LABORATORIES FOR A COMMUNITY PSYCHIATRY

BACKGROUND

Recovery.net: laboratories for a community psychiatry comes from a reflection shared by territorial actors and regional decision makers on the difficult sustainability of a system of mental health services that sees in the "residential response" the most important expenditure commitment with a consequent weakening of care pathways and territorial assignment.

AIMS

The objective is to build together a local community for mental health by overcoming the divisions between the actors and an increase in cooperation and participation in the governance of mental health policies.

Recovery means "living life to the best of one's ability". 160 individualized territorial paths and 7 innovative practices will be activated that will help users to live, work and lead a satisfying life in their own context, without resorting to traditional rehabilitation interventions in residential communities, day centers or hospitalization. This will promote greater economic sustainability and more active social roles.

EngageMinds Hub was asked to develop a tool for monitoring Individualized Therapeutic Pathways (ITPs) co-produced by Services and Users, or therapeutic pathways in which the user plays an active role in designing his own path and establishing the own goals. A tool has been developed that evaluates the user's experience and needs within the mental health service and compares them with the experiences of all the other actors involved (caregivers, health workers, teams) on different aspects (quality of co-production , engagement, recovery). The monitoring objective is twofold:

1. evaluate the functioning of ITPs and the dynamics involved, to provide accurate and information-rich feedback to the Services;

2. provide health professionals (doctors, educators etc.) with a tool to monitor themselves and their clients over time.
