The management of diabetic pathologies increasingly requires care systems to innovatively orient their services, recognizing and promoting in people with diabetes an active role for an autonomous and conscious management of the disease (Patient Engagement).

The literature shows that the Patient Support Programs (PSP) allow, if customized to the specific needs of the patient, an increase in adherence and engagement.

Roche Diabetes Care Italy intends to develop a "Patient Support Program" (PSP) - Remote Phone Coaching for people with diabetes - with the aim of improving their engagement, wellbeing and adherence to therapy.

The ultimate goal is to offer a tool capable of improving the quality of life of people with diabetes, offering real relief and prevention skills.

  • Maximize the potential for innovation and effectiveness of the service in order to guarantee its ability to offer personalized support according to the levels and needs of engagement of people with diabetes;

  • Explore the availability of the service in terms of user satisfaction and optimize the service according to their needs;

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the service offered in promoting engagement, adherence to therapies and the well-being of people with diabetes.
